Indications/Uses
Anorexia of somatic or psychogenic origin in underwt patients in whom prevention of vit B deficiency secondary to impaired dietary intake or absorption (eg, as a consequence of antibiotics or other drug therapy interfering w/ absorption or utilization of B group vit) is indicated.
CapAdult 1 cap daily, increased to 1 cap tid. SyrAdult Initially 10 mL daily, increased up to 10 mL tid. Childn Initially, small dose should be increased gradually to an ave maintenance dose of 0.025 mg/kg daily, 2-6 yr 10-20 mL daily in 2 or 3 divided doses.
